Profile

All artists have to start somewhere. I started in grade school, Then went to college and am now back in college. Time has taken my art from the Middle Ages to the 21st century but I seem to enjoy the art of the Victorians. Botanical illustration's height of popularity was about that time when many books were published with illustrations of exotic plants, photography was also new and facinated the nation. My art reflects these times with a modern flair. After all, I do live in the 21st century.

I haven't been idle in other areas either. I am also an accomplished graphic designer and costume designer focusing on live theatre. I have owned my own business for close to 15 years under a number of names and chose Designing Art Studio to bring all facits of my art together.
